[justify]To celebrate James Bond‘s fiftieth anniversary and in anticipation of the forthcoming SkyFall in local cinemas, Euro Media Forum, Science is Culture in conjunction with Eden Cinemas are proud to launch the James Bond drawing competition aimed at persons aged 16 and over, the winner will be the receiver of two tickets to watch the Skyfall premiere on Friday October 26th at Eden Cinemas at 9 p.m., including free parking. The second prize is a complimentary voucher valid for two persons for any other movie.

Participants are required to draw and colour their favourite James Bond actor. There will be two winners and entries will be exhibited at the Italian Cultural Institute where The Science of James Bond event will take place on Monday the 22nd of October at 7 p.m. The winners will be announced during the Monday 22nd October event and the judging panel will consist of a number of professionals in the field of comic book creation. Each participant is allowed one entry, which should be on A4 paper, together with full name, age, address, telephone number and identification number of participant. Entries can be submitted by post or delivered by hand to the reception staff at the Italian Cultural Institute, St George’s Square, Valletta, VLT 1190, during office hours (next to the Attorney General office) opposite the Malta Parliament. Closing date is Monday 22nd October.

Participants are encouraged to attend The Science of James Bond event that will take place on Monday the 22nd of October at the Italian Cultural Institute at 7p.m. During this event the science behind the gadgets, exploits, and enemies of the world’s greatest spy will be discussed in terms of their real power and their scientific relevance. Entrance is free.
