Annabell Huwig is a German librarian/event manger of a city library and a renowned cosplayer under the alias of Calssara. She started cosplaying in 2004 and hasn't looked back since. Calssara's knack for creating colourful, detailed and authentic costumes as well as her ability to aptly interpret the characters she cosplays in skits has elevated her to one of the most respected cosplayers in the world. She has successfully represented Germany in a variety of cosplay competitions and won numerous prestigious awards in the process both as a solo cosplayer and with her cosplay partner Lumis-Mirage. In fact earlier this year through her Saber costume from Fate/Stay Night she won the solo category in the European Cosplay Gathering (ECG). Calssara describes herself as a very social person and always looks forward to travelling to various conventions and gatherings to meet other cosplayers and fans as well as learn different cosplay practices which are prevalent in the respective countries. During her travels, which so far include 3 different continents and 10 countries she often takes part in discussion panels, talks and workshops on many aspects of cosplaying. Due to her vast and comprehensive cosplay experience Calssara is often invited to be a guest of honour and form part of the judging panels in a number of international cosplay events such as the World Cosplay Summit, the European Cospaly Gathering and the EuroCosplay. She also does stage performances and cosplay advertising.
