Independent visual FX fan film maker David Guivant from New Caledonia, South Pacific Island announced that his next project Captain Future will be officially released in December 2012. This short FX fan film will be based on SCI-FI Classic comic created by Edmond Hamilton in the 1940’s and the subsequent Japanese Anime of the 1970’s. The film will follow Curtis Newton, a brilliant scientist and adventurer who roams the solar system solving problems, righting wrongs, and vanquishing futuristic supervillains.

David Guivant first made a name for himself when he did the opening credits for a fictional TV series based on Marvel’s Invincible Iron Man which registered over 440, 000 views.

This success was followed with David being part of the visual FX crew who created The Solo Adventures featuring Han Solo and Chewbacca. This was awarded the Best Fan Animated Short Film by George Lucas at the Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando.
