“The show was a really good surprise for me. The place is just beautiful, the public very curious about anyone’s work, and the organisation very kind with the artists invited. I keep warm memories of any talks and lunches together with all the artist and crew. Also I never thought of visiting Malta, the Comic Con was a great occasion to discover this country. The MCC crew did well!@ (Rosalys, 2014)

Grafimated Cartoon is a cooperative society that produces, promotes and diffuses animated films and comics. Grafimated Cartoon was founded in January 2001 by professionals of the field. With over fifteen years experience, they have participated in several national and international animated film festivals with short author films, in particular the short film “Saudates du sud” with which it took part in the competition in Annecy 97 edition.
They have cooperated in the production of important animated series and feature films such as: The Triplets, Cocco Bill, I Cuccioli, La Gabbianella e il Gatto, Aida degli alberi, etc… Grafmated Cartoon also produced “I Vespri Siciliani” and are working on the upcoming feature animated movie “Pinocchio” by Enzo D’Alo.
With “School of Comics-Scuola del Fumetto” they teach the skills to create comics, from pencils to colouring and lettering. In fact in 2011, the school also started publishing comics created by their students. Their students and collaborators have worked with such editors as Panini Kids, Ape Entertainment, Disney, Marvel Comics, Marathon, Bluewaters, Cronaca di Topolinia, Dc Comics, etc…
Other activities organized in collaboration with several public schools in Sicily, are comics and animated cartoon workshops where students create short films in which some of them won prizes in their respective categories.
“We are looking forward to welcoming exciting digital artist Jean-Louis Mast who is one of the leading artists for Marvel’s digital line: Infinite Comics to our family. Mast was recommended to us by Julien Schantz one of the organisers of the awesome Lille Comics Festival with whom we have proudly partnered this year. Dave Lung, Luciano Regazzoni, Salvatore Di Marco and Antonino Pirotta need no introduction to the Maltese comic fans since they have all already made a hit during past Malta Comic Cons, and being an important part of our family are always welcome on our shores. The presence of these fine folk as well as that of the other guests has us all enthusiastically looking forward to the Malta Comic Con 2014 and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their participation and look forward to hosting them here” said Chris Le Galle co-founder of Wicked Comics.
